Ahmed's good-bye party
|
|
Ahmed decided to cut short his internship and go back to Tunisia, so we had a good bye party for him at his flat...As usual people were mostly drunk by the end of the party but still managed to catch the night bus home. While we were on the bus, I guess it was obvious that we were different (more international I would say), there was a guy approaching us asking where we're from, so we made him guess. It was kind of a guessing game quiz for him, which was fun seeing him trying so hard.
As everyone left home, me and Martha decided to stop at Mcdonald in Szintoksziska. We came across people whom I guess never been out of Poland whom I suppose were jelous of Martha. Me and and Martha were talking and suddenly the boy behind us was saying something in Polish to Martha. From the body language I knew he said something rude. I found out that the boy and the girls standing in front of us claimed that Martha was being pretentious, all because she spoke English!! For god sake! How could she speaks Polish to me when I don't speak the language??!! Of course she has to speak English to me, idiot! It really pissed me off how shallow they are. I snapped back at them though i knew they don't understand fucking shit anything I said but at least it made me feel better...One of the girls said something about me I don't remember what but I remember she said I was from China. And I screamed at her "just fuck off, it clearly shows that you haven't been out of Poland and the only Asian country you know is China! You don't even know how to speak proper English so please shut the fuck up and don't try to talk to me!" After I said that Martha was like "ok Herni just ignore them, we don't want to get into trouble".
It really pisses me off how shallow these people are!! For god sake, try to expand your mind a little bit! After the incident, I never see Polish the way I used to and I know it's unfair. I hope they will change..

1 Nov is a public holiday in Poland...The Polish usually go to the cemetery to commemorate the dead ones especially their relatives...Ala took me and Brian to a cemetery where they buried famous people and one of them was the famous pianist.

We checked out from the beach house at midday..Went to the beach and took some photos...Apart from Ren and G, everyone was leaving the same day...Freda&Alper back to Sweden, Nas to Essex, Ben and I to London..
Although a visit to Cardiff was very brief, I enjoyed every moment I had with a very nice bunch of people whom I don't know when I'm going to see them again..
I hope we'll see each other although not very soon, maybe sometimes in the future...in Canada, Malaysia, Sweden, Switzerland...who knows!!
Enjoying our last day in Wales

Wales..Ryan & Zara's wedding
|
|
I made just on time for Ryan's wedding!! Flew to London from Munich on Friday night, got there at almost midnight..I was supposed to stay with Carl but unfortunately he moved out from his flat and is staying with a friend so I didn't want to make things complicated. Besides, buses and tubes in London end at midnight , I wouldn't make it anyway if I were to stay with him. So, I spent the night at airport...cool eh, hahah....what an experience I thought...I slept for a couple of hours, couldn't get my eyes closed...woke up, got dress and took the 5am bus to Victoria Station...Reached Victoria at 6am...waited for two hours before catching the bus to Cardiff...the journey took 3 hours...
The wedding starts at 12pm and I reached Cardiff Central at 11.10...The train to Port Talbot is at 11.15..how is that huh...as soon as the bus stopped at Cardiff Central, I got off, took my luggage and ran as fast as I could to the train station which was just across the bus station..thank god there wasn't any queuing! got My ticket and I ran again to the platform...as soon as I stepped on the train, it moved...phewww!!
When I arrived at the church I was so relieved to find Max standing outside...I was like did I miss it?? and Max was like noo, you didn't...phewww!!!

It was a nice and easy day....Went to the forest after breakfast and had a brief stroll there, It's a regular place where maksu usually take a walk in the summer....
Got home at late afternoon, packed my stuff, had dinner and off to the airport...It was such a great week in Munich I'll never forget...

Today, there isn't much activity I did....Maksu took me for lunch at her friend's restaurant and we had fried calamari. It has been a long time since I ate seafood:p After that we dropped by at Maksu's friend's. According to Maksu this friend of her's is a very wealthy lady in which I could observe from her house. It looks ordinary from outside but as we entered the house I was saying to myself how I wish this house was mine.
Later we took a stroll at the park near by. It was very calm and relaxing. Luckily it wasn't raining. To finish the day Maksu took me back to Rossenheim to do my last minute shopping.
