One Lazy Saturday in London
|

It's Saturday, the weather wasn't so nice, it was drizzling in the evening..We had quite a lazy day, started our day only at 2pm..ryan took me and Nicole to the museum next to his house..gee I can't remember what's the name of it but it's kinda cool museum eventhough I'm not a fan of museums..Then, Matt (Ryan's friend) joined us and we headed to China town for some chineese food! I was craving for Asian food as it's not easy to get it in Poland:( and then it started to rain and we were soaking wet..Poor Matt, he only had a sweater on him, he must had been really cold..After dinner Ryan said there was a cool pub somewhre in Leceister Square so we went to the pub (there was a tree in the center of the bar, that's why it's cool)... hang out for a couple of hours and then we hedaed home for karoake!! due to weather condition we couldn't really jumped on one pub to another as we usually did for the past few days:) so we decided to just hang out at Ryan's..

Day 5th..Started the day quite late...Initially we wanted to go out earlier but Craig lost his wallet therefore we were stucked at home for a while searching for his wallet...It wasn't a good day for him...Well things happen...Nicole & Ryan helped him to solve the matter (cancelling his bank acc & stuff like that).....I went to Big Ben by myself and hooked up with them later at night...Since the day didn't turn out quite well (I left home at 2pm, sun set at 4) I was rushing to the city, trying to be there before it gets dark so that I could capture nice and clear photos of Big Ben...
At night the four of us hanged out at Dirty Dick's pub near Liverpool street..It was a PERFECT meeting point with my ex boss, the Timneys  It was nice we managed to meet up...We were like, "wow! we were in KL, Sydney, and now London!" We catched up a bit as they couldn't stay long..
After they left we switched pubs to a more maditeranean beat..Had some shisha! gosh!, it has been a while since I smoked shisha! I've haven't seen it in Poland though..

Boxing Day, Shopping Day
|
|
It's a Boxing Day, a day when the Londeners go for shopping. The shops opened as early as 3am! and some people even waited outside the shops 2 hours before that!
I followed the boys to Oxford Street for shopping but of course we weren't that crazy to wait outside the shops at 3am! I had to control my temptation as I didn't allocate enough money for shopping, good for me:-)
After shopping I went back to Northfields to grab my things and went to Ryan's...It's a pity I didn't get to see Marcelo before I left but we'll sure going to keep in touch.

I landed at Stansted airport when the Londoners are having their Christmas eve dinner party with their family, it was not a good time I supposed as most public transportation stopped at 9pm! I was struggling to beat the crowded airport, rushing to the bus terminal and pheewwww! I made it! it was the last bus for the day. If I had missed the bus I would have to spend the night at the airport and wait till Tues to get to the central as all public transports were completely out of service on Christmas..
I'd say that I'm proud of myself as I managed to find Marcelo's place by just according to his instruction which I wrote down on a piece of paper! This is my first time travelling alone in a strange country where nobody waited for me at the airport and I had to find my own way..It was a challenge but English REALLY helps so it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would like in Poland.
As I arrived at Marcelo's I felt sooooo relieved that I finally arrived safely! the boys at Marcelo's were all worried about me, how nice of them:-) They thought I couldn't find my way and were worried that they couldn't reach me on my mobile but everything was fine. I was greeted with nice bunch of people. There were Marcelo and his bro and another Brazillian friend of theirs, Polish boys, Pawel and Voitech and an Indian chap. So it was very international! and the best part was, I was the only girl in the house and was treated like a princess, except that I had to sleep in the living room, it was fun though hanging out with them.
The next day (Christmas) was a lazy day as everone woke up at midday. Since there weren't any buses or trains on service, Pawel, Voitech and I decided to go for a walk around Northfiled and took some photos.
